Mr. George  Commander, BSc, MSc, joined InterHealth Care Services in 2004 to lead the implementation of healthcare projects in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) sector. He is also a former Chief Executive Officer of InterHealth Care Services.

He has over 35 years of continuous experience in the execution of major construction projects with a principle focus on the delivery and long-term life cycling and operation of healthcare infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caribbean.

Mr. Commander successfully led InterHealth Care Services bid for award of the Turks and Caicos Islands Government Hospitals PPP programme.

The first of its kind, the project integrated clinical and non-clinical PPP delivery and necessitated the establishment of landmark agreements covering all aspects of facility design and maintenance in addition to clinical service delivery over a 25 year period.

He developed an in-house capacity to cover the full spectrum of project delivery including initial bid, structured financing solutions, design and turnkey construction and full implementation and commissioning management.
